Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Actuators - UPA
The ultrasonic piezo actuator UPA25 is a compact, low-voltage transducer for generating ultrasonic vibrations. It consists of a metal shell that provides an interface zone with a M4 hole. Vibrations normal to the shell are produced at the interface zone. The UPA is excited by one electric port, which can be fed with a low voltage sine wave. The amplitude of displacement is controlled by the voltage level and excitation frequency. Applications are typically resonant, for fast switching, for instance. The U-shaped holder can be modified to meet the requirement of your application. Smaller UPAs can also be produced for operating frequencies up to 100kHz.
