The
driving electronics of the APA,DPA or PPA Actuators are arranged around the
75 family of 19 ¡¯ electronic cards..Versatile system can therefore be arranged
around 19 ¡¯ rack including at least:
an AC/DC or a DC/DC converter necessary to the stabilised high DC voltage,
an amplifier to drive the piezoelectric actuator generally between ?20V and
150 V.
If a PC piloting &controlling is required,CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES can provide
an additional card (UC75) integrated in the rack with a RS232-C plug. This
card is equipped with a micro controller that could be programmed under requirements
of the customer, and be delivered with different options.
If a fine positioning is required,it may be necessary to use a closed loop:
?a position sensor and its electronic, ?a closed loop servo controller.

The driving electronics for Ultrasonic Piezo Actuators (UPA)or Ultrasonic
Piezo Drives (UPD)as used in Linear Piezo Motors (LPM)or Rotating Piezo Motors
(RPM)are arranged around the 100 family of 19 ¡¯ electronic cards..Versatile
system can therefore be arranged around 19 ¡¯ rack including at least::
a AC/DC or a DC/DC converter necessary to the stabilised DC voltage,
an inverter to drive the piezoelectric resonator near its resonance frequency.
This power supply is especially adapted to the CEDRAT ¡¯s technology of low
voltage resonant Actuators. Therefore, there are two output channels operating
at the same frequency and the same output level, with a controllable phase
shift. These channels are two inverters, whose frequency can be set externally
or can follow automatically the resonant frequency. This power supply can include
the sensor electronic for a capacitive displacement sensor (FOGALE Nanotech)or
a LVDT (Sensorex).
