Amplified Actuators -XS Series
Amplified Piezoelectric Actuators of the XS series are the smallest APAs currently available. They are perfect components for integration in micro stages and rapid positioning applications. The APAXS piezo actuators are extremely fast. They can be used for tuning laser diodes, for instance, or as ultra compact vibration source.

S.G.: The actuator is equipped with Strain Gauges (S.G.). The Strain Gauges signal should be monitored with the SG75 strain gauge conditioning electronics. N.M.: The actuator is made of Non Magnetic (N.M.) material. Therefore, the actuator is insensitive to external magnetic fields. Some properties of the actuator such as its mass, dimensions, and thermo-mecanical behavior, may differ from those of the standard actuator. |
F.I.: The actuator has two identical flat interfaces that can be bonded. H.: The actuator has two identical interfaces, each one composed of a flat surface with a non threaded hole. T.H.: The actuator has two identical interfaces, each one composed of a flat surface with a centered threaded hole. F.F.: The actuator can be used in "free-free" conditions, i.e. by holding it at its center. Thus, the actuator operates symmetrically, resulting in a larger bandwidth but only half of the stroke. |
AWG26: Two wiresAWG26 with PVC coating. AWG30: Two wires AWG30 with PTFE coating. LEMO: LEMO™ connector. |
