Amplified Actuators -SM series
Amplified Piezo Actuators of the SM series constitute a new class of amplified actuators. These piezoelectric actuators are specially designed to provide high mechanical energy densities, which translate into an excellent compromise of stroke, force, and speed. The APA SM piezo actuators are used in a very large variety of applications, and include tuning laser diodes and fiber gratings, positioning and scanning stages, and vibration control. Actuators can be arranged in series and/or in parallel. Customized models can be fabricated quickly.
