Linear and Theta Stages
ALIO

available with manual micrometers for low cost
product and process development. These stages
were specifically designed to enhance the
development and manufacturing of advanced
photonics assemblies or applications where
precision alignments are necessary.
Product
development engineers understand the necessity
of concurrent equipment development in parallel
with their products. ALIO Industries offers an
equipment migration path that easily allows
developer to move from completely manual stages
in the lab to fully automated production grade
stages on the manufacturing floor in an
identical footprint.
It
is important to point out that ALIO achieves
full automation without adding
"micrometer-like" motors with rotary
feedback. ALIO's core technology utilizes linear
piezoelectric DC servo motors coupled with
non-contact linear optical encoders for maximum
speed and repeatability.

development needs including linear, goniometric
and rotary in three phases of stage evolution.
